Challenge Yourself, Master Yourself
Black Box Penetration Testing & Web Exploitation Mastery
To qualify for accreditation as an Offensive Web Security Apprentice (OWSA), Offensive Web Security Tester (OWST), or Offensive Web Security Professional (OWSP), candidates must successfully complete at least one challenge that aligns with the specific certification's required relevance and difficulty level. Achievement of this challenge must be documented on the official leaderboard to be recognized.
Offensive Web Security Apprentice (OWSA): Certification is awarded upon successful completion of an easy-level challenge and subsequent recording of this achievement on the leaderboard. This certification remains valid for one year. To view a sample of this certification, click here.
Offensive Web Security Tester (OWST): Certification is granted when a candidate completes a challenge of normal difficulty, with the achievement recorded on the leaderboard. This certification is also valid for one year. To view a sample of this certification, click here.
Offensive Web Security Professional (OWSP): Achieving and recording a successful outcome of a hard-level challenge on the leaderboard results in certification valid for one year. To view a sample of this certification, click here.
The system evaluates the most recent achievement for accreditation purposes. For example, if a candidate previously completed a hard challenge but most recently completed and updated their leaderboard status with a normal challenge, they will be accredited as having completed the normal challenge level, qualifying them for the OWST certification.
Post-certification, any further challenges completed and new records set will not affect the current accreditation status. Each certification is valid for a single year, and individuals are entitled to one accreditation per year. To renew or upgrade their accreditation, candidates must complete a new challenge after their current certification expires and achieve a new leaderboard record.
